When we received the book in the mail my daughter and I spent some time looking through all of the projects. The book is divided up into sections depending on the type of recycled craft material you need.
There are toilet paper roll projects, egg carton crafts, popsicle stick ideas and so much more. The crafts are colorful, fun and have easy to follow instructions and photos. Many of the crafts can be played with after kids finish making them!
Toilet Paper Roll Owl Craft
We made the adorable toilet paper roll owl craft from the book. My daughter wanted to make her owls in a winter theme and I think they came out great!
She wanted to paint the paper rolls and use patterned paper for her own unique twist on the craft. This owl craft can be made in so many different ways, Valentine owls would also be a cute idea!
Most of the projects in this book use recycled materials and simple supplies that you most likely already have on hand. So kids can flip thought the book, pick out a project and start making it right away!
I love that we can save some of our items that are bound for the recycling bin and turn them into treasures. You will be surprised what a few simple supplies and some imagination can make!
This book has a wide range of craft projects for kids of all ages and abilities. There are super simple crafts for preschool-aged children and more involved projects that older kids will have fun making.
There are also some awesome seasonal and holiday crafts along with wonderful handmade gift ideas! A lot of crafts in this book are perfect for pretend play, there is a really cute birthday cake idea my daughter wants to make for her dolls.
