How to use the printable scavenger hunts
This activity can be done in many different ways. Kids can go for a nature walk, stopping along the way to draw what they see or you can use this at home in your garden.
The color scavenger hunt can be done outside in nature or inside. If you are in a school you can have kids find and draw items they find in the classroom. If you are at home, kids can draw items they find in their room, their favorite toys that have those colors, or have them search the whole house to find the items to draw.
The seasonal scavenger hunts don’t have to be done all at once. When I did this activity with my kids, we couldn’t find a snail or spiderweb when we went out the first time, so we had to go out again. And both times we had fun searching and drawing!
