We love a good cactus art project and this 3D cactus paper craft was so fun to make! These cactus shapes are easy for kids to draw and cut out on their own and choosing different colors for the flowers, makes each one unique!

We made this craft from Maggy Woodley’s Easy Paper Projects book, who is the creator of the amazing Red Ted Art. This book is filled with fun, easy crafts that kids will be excited to try! We were thrilled to be gifted this book to review and share with our readers.
When we received the book in the mail, I gave it to my daughter to have a look through. I handed her some sticky notes to mark the pages of the projects that she wanted to try.
She spent a long time looking through the book and put sticky notes on almost all of the pages! It was hard for us to narrow down just one craft to share with you, we were both excited to try several ideas in this book!
3D Cactus Paper Craft
We chose to make the 3D paper cactus craft and had a lot of fun making our cactus shapes and the colorful flowers on top.
Instead of using cardstock to make the flowers, we decided to make tissue paper flowers and I love how they turned out!
The projects in this book are easy for kids to get creative and customize to their own style. My daughter has already taken an adorable paper clip cat craft and made a similar puppy craft to give to her grandma.
Maggy has created projects that are creative, easy and fun for kids to make!
This book has it all! Paper crafts for all seasons and holidays, paper jewelry and creative projects to make any time. I love the back to school crafts with adorable mini notebooks and bookmark ideas!
You only need basic simple supplies like colorful paper, glue, scissors, and markers. Supplies you likely already have at home. The picture tutorials and text are clear and easy for kids to follow and make on their own!

With all of the sticky notes my daughter has put on the pages, we will be crafting with this book for a while! We are both excited to try out more crafts and I love that my daughter can take the book and try out some of the projects on her own.
